Originally published in 2015, this newly re-mastered edition was also an opportunity to rework the lead track Agora.

Egress developed from recordings made during a residency at Stockholm's legendary EMS Elektronmusikstudion, using their Serge modular system. My goal with the Serge was to discover subtle patterns and textural events which evolved out of self-feedback modulation, rather than using the dedicated sequencer panel. The resulting sounds have a wavering fragility, an irregular electrical 'breath' of charged air particles gathering around the voltage.

Egress is a counterpart to the previous album Tidal Locking, which focused on EMS's Buchla system.
